About

Hands-on frontend ownership

I'm a Senior Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience building React, TypeScript and React Native applications for the EZO enterprise SaaS suite.

My work spans large-scale frontend modernization, complex Redux-driven workflows, offline-first mobile features, REST API integration and frontend performance. I work primarily on frontend systems while regularly collaborating across Ruby on Rails APIs and backend data flows.

My architecture and ownership experience grew out of years of implementation, debugging and code review. I still spend most of my time building and improving production software.

Engineering initiative

Proposed and implemented TypeScript and ESLint enforcement in the React Native repository so unresolved type and lint issues could not be pushed.

AI-assisted development

I use Cursor and Claude for implementation, debugging and refactoring with a review-first workflow, while retaining full ownership of the code I ship.

Senior Software Engineer

Jul 2025 – Present

Owned and extended the shared listing-filter platform across four SaaS products, working across reusable React components, Redux state, Rails services, code reviews and team knowledge sharing.
Delivered major React modernization and product work across Members, Provisioning, Vendors and Documents, alongside Dispatch Center and the CMDB/ITSM integration.
Completed the CloudFront and S3 rollout for frontend asset delivery, resolving remaining QA and production issues and helping reduce measured page-load time by roughly 50% across validated environments.

Software Engineer II

Jul 2024 – Jun 2025

Designed an offline-first React Native/Rails work-order workflow using SQLite caching, queued writes, batched reconnect synchronization and server-side background processing.
Expanded into React web and platform work through persisted filter-state handling, React performance improvements, Rails query/N+1 optimization and a self-directed TypeScript/ESLint initiative.

Jul 2022 – Jun 2024

Built React Native versions of mature web workflows across reservations, audits, orders, work orders, Request Portal, scanning, inventory and scheduling.
Delivered listings, detail pages and resource actions with Redux Thunk while adding Rails REST endpoints, serializers, typed mappings and pagination where mobile APIs were missing.

Multi-product listing filter platform

Owned and extended a shared filtering platform used across four enterprise SaaS products and their React Native clients.

Built on an existing YAML-driven structure with reusable React components, Redux state and Rails filter services
Solved persisted-filter restoration by rebuilding Redux state from URL parameters after a hard browser refresh
Became the main technical reference over time and ran a knowledge-sharing session for the wider team

Frontend modernization

Legacy-to-React modernization

Implemented React modernization across mature SaaS modules while preserving permissions, behavior and feature parity.

Selected contribution

Implemented substantial migration work across Members, Provisioning and Documents, and inherited and finalized the in-progress Vendors migration
Worked with two other engineers on the large, permission-heavy Members migration
Preserved existing permissions and business behavior while replacing repeated server-rendered page loads with faster React interactions

Mobile architecture

Offline-first mobile work orders

Designed and implemented an offline-first React Native and Rails workflow for field and maintenance teams working with unreliable connectivity.

Added connectivity detection, background caching, SQLite storage and offline-aware UX
Queued offline writes and synchronized them in batches after reconnecting
Used server-side background processing to protect stability during reconnect bursts

Dispatch Center

Built Dispatch Center in React, a unified request-management workspace combining multiple operational workflows with a customized scheduling/calendar experience.

Worked closely with product, UX and QA on the customized scheduling experience
Guided a junior engineer on backend data shapes and React debugging

Cross-product integration

Integrated an existing React CMDB module into a separate PHP/GLPI ITSM application despite having no prior professional PHP experience.

Created a dedicated esbuild entry point and deployment-time bundle distribution through AWS S3
Resolved same-origin API proxying, route allowlisting, authentication, session and CSS-collision issues
Documented the production-safe integration for other developers

Completed the CloudFront/S3 rollout for frontend asset delivery after taking over the in-progress initiative and resolving remaining QA issues.
